Cynthia S. Thomas, P.T., HPCS

Cindy is a graduate of Stanford University and has 35 years of experience working with children and adults with neuromotor disorders. She is certified in Neuro Development Treatment (NDT) with adults, children and babies. Cindy became certified as a registered Riding Instructor with the National Association of Riding for the Handicapped (NARHA) in 2003. She became certified in Hippotherapy with the American Hippotherapy Association in 2004. A member of the Equest Medical Advisory Board, she has consulted with therapeutic riding classes for 15 years. As a staff member, Cindy has worked with Hippotherapy clients since 1992. She is a member of NARHA and the American Hippotherapy Association. Cindy is also the Vice President of the Lonestar Equestrian Network (LSTEN), as well as a USA national assessor for the International Paralympic commitee. In addition to providing therapy services at Equest, Cindy has a private practice in Dallas.
