Horse Adoption
Equest's unique therapy horses are the backbone of our program. These animals have brought untold smiles, laughter and joy to so many by just being true to their nature. Our horses need daily care to stay in premium shape for their riders. Yearly well-care costs more than $5,400 per horse. Some of our horses have been adopted, but many are awaiting supporters like you to provide the funding for their yearly well care.
Adopting an Equest horse will enable you to provide for their needs for a full year. Upkeep for our horses involves new shoes, feeding, supplements, stall comfort care (stall mats, shavings, etc.) and veterinary expenses.
Sponsor a therapy horse for a year by donating $5,000 towards their upkeep. There are also options to sponsor either a quarter or a half of a horse. Your gift will be recognized in varoius ways, including a stall plate bearing your name and web site and social media acknowledgment.
Adoption does not include riding privileges, but does enable a horse to provide weekly therapy to our riders. You are welcome to come visit your adopted horse. Volunteers are always needed!
