Equest in the Spotlight

Equest in the Spotlight:

April 11, 2010

Equest Therapeutic Horsemanship in Wylie, TX was burglarized overnight Saturday or early Sunday morning with the thieves taking off with vital equipment and machinery to transport horses and maintain the property. Equest is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that has been serving North Texas children and adults with disabilities for 29 years.

The Joe M. and Doris R. Dealey Family Foundation and Black, Mann & Graham LLP have both generously pledged to match monetary donations given to Equest to cover their losses following the robbery at the therapeutic riding center this weekend. Each will match up to $10,000 in recovery funds received.
