Community Service

Court appointed Community Service Restitution may be completed at Equest if you are at least 12 years old and have been pre-approved by the staff. Before you begin your service, you must complete a volunteer application and notify the barn manager you will be coming. If you are a minor, a parent or guardian must also sign all of your paper work.
Typical offenses we accept are: truancy, traffic tickets and curfew violations. Court-ordered community service workers assist with barn and stable work.
Hours for community service begin each day between 6 and 9 am. Weekday hours will end between 2 and 3 pm, and weekend hours will end between 3 and 5 pm.
There are no evening hours for community service.
Community service workers must bring a time sheet from the court, which will be signed and copied each day. You may bring a lunch. A refrigerator and microwave are available for use.
