Groom and Tack trainers help staff to teach the groom and tack section of volunteer training. Volunteer trainings occur twice prior to the start of riding sessions:

G&T trainers should have a strong knowledge base of horse management in order that they may be effective trainers; capable of not only teaching How’s, but the equally important What’s and Why’s. Specifically, they should know the following:

Eligible candidates are required to take and pass a test to receive further training from the Instructor Staff.
