Volunteer

Equest is a dynamic facility that utilizes over 300 volunteers a week to create a safe and effective environment for our clients and horses. We encourage you to become a partner with us as we look to the future.

Adults and teenagers who are interested in assisting children and adults with disabilities are invitied to participate in our therapeutic horsemanship programs. The minimum age requirement to volunteer is 14 years of age and completion of the 7th grade.

Volunteers can assist with riding classes, physical therapy sessions, facility and stable improvements, general horse care, administrative office work and special events such as horse shows and fundraising events.

Community service requirements for school and other organizations, as well as court appointed community service restitution, is available for stable work positions only beginning at 12 years of age.
