Equest After Dark

Featuring entertainment by best live party band, Emerald City throughout the evening.


Cocktail hour will feature the hot lindy beat of the Texas Gypsies along with libations and games of chance for the high rollers in attendance



All proceeds will benefit Equest Therapeutic Horsemanship, a Dallas nonprofit that provides equine facilitated therapy and counseling to children and adults with disabilities, and veterans and their family members adjusting to civilian life.


Three options to attend Equest's AFTER DARK Gala: Individual Gala ticket, Gala table of eight, or Gala "After Party" individual ticket.

This ticket option grants the individual access to the entire Equest Gala from cocktail hour to exclusive After Party. Ticket includes seated dinner, games of chance, and entertainment by the Texas Gypsies and Emerald City.

This option begins with cocktail hour, and includes preferred seating for eight during dinner, program, and entertainment. Tickets include seated dinner, games of chance, entertainment by the Texas Gypsies and Emerald City, and exclusive After Party.

This ticket option only permits entry to the After Dark After Party starting at 9:30 p.m. Ticket price includes entertainment by Emerald City followed by dancing until the clock strikes midnight, two free drinks, and late night desserts.

Please note that Equest will not be providing shuttles to The Bomb Factory. We encourage you to rideshare (Uber, Lyft, taxi), or take advantage of the complimentary valet. Both the valet and rideshare drop-off points are located on Henry Street, the west side of The Bomb Factory.

To expedite your check-in process, please download the BidPal app, and enter your credit card information prior to your arrival at the Gala. The BidPal app must be used for live and silent auction bidding as well as donations to Equest. Additionally, by registering your credit card early, you will be able to bid on auction items before the Gala begins! Please note that you will be required to register your credit card when you arrive at The Bomb Factory for check-in.

For those who purchase tables, to ensure that the check-in process is smooth for everyone, please send the names of your table guests to the Equest Development Team no later than Friday, April 13. Susan & Jon Farrier

An equestrian since the age of five, Susan Farrier’s passion for horses continues today as Co-Chair of the Equest After Dark Gala. She has led numerous prominent fundraisers including Cattle Baron’s Ball, Dallas Museum of Art’s Beaux Arts Ball, The Dallas Opera Gala, and a luncheon to benefit The National Kidney Foundation.  Coined a ‘travel technology guru,’ Jon Farrier is President of Travel Techonologists. He and his wife have two children and a New Zealand Thoroughbred named Hail II, and reside in Lakewood.

Sue & Ben Casey

Honorary Co-Chairs Sue and Ben Casey are not only active in many area philanthropic organizations but are also well known in the equestrian world. Sue Malone-Casey, owner of Dressage Horizons, is a longtime national-level champion dressage competitor/trainer and also an FEI international dressage judge. In 2017, she received the White House Lifetime Achievement Award from the President for her many volunteer endeavors. Mr. Casey has 50 years of experience in not-for-profit organization management, both as a professional and as a volunteer. He currently serves as the president of Philanthropic Horizons Consulting and is on the boards of the Texas Horse Park Foundation, VolunteerNow, the Rotary Club of Dallas Foundation, and the Scottish Rite Museum. He was a YMCA executive for 35 years and president of the Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation for 8 years.
