Diagnosis: Left hemiparesis (general weakness on left side of body)

Tenure at Equest: Carson started in hippotherapy at age three. After two and a half years in hippotherapy, Carson's strength and balance had improved enough for him to transition to sports riding, and he is now in his third year of learning independent riding skills. Carson is currently a level 2 rider, which means he rides independtly at the walk, and is learning how to control his horse at teh trot.
