COVID-19 Updates

Greetings from Equest!

Equest works hard to protect clients, the public, staff, and volunteers while allowing for our constituents to be as comfortable and safe as possible. Equest is following the Center for Disease Control (CDC) as well as state, and local health department guidelines to reduce the spread of Covid-19.

Please review our current policy and waiver for all clients, volunteers, family members and visitors for Covid-19 here

Programs

In consideration for the health and safety of our clients, volunteers, and staff, we are carefully offering regular programming, including therapeutic riding, hippotherapy (O.T./ P.T.), equine assisted learning, and counseling this year. Equest’s mental health counselors are currently providing in-person and tele-health counseling to clients.

Volunteering

All trained, experienced volunteers on premises must be pre-approved and pre-scheduled by the Director of Volunteer Services. They must have their updated signed release on file, the COVID specific liability release form signed and on file and review the COVID protocol form. They must follow mask and hand washing protocols, and must maintain social distancing.

Volunteer training is held prior to each session: Fall, Spring, and Summer.
