trauma focused equine assisted psychotherapy workshop

November 12th-13th

2:00PM - 8:00PM

This two-day workshop provides a deeper understanding in how equine facilitated counseling partners with healing trauma. We learn about the parts of the brain as well as the different human physiological responses to trauma. We couple this knowledge with the understanding of the equine brain and the theme of connection. We dive into helpful interventions and activities partnered with the horse that support the healing process. This workshop allows us to take what we learn and put it into action with our horse partners.
