About the Event
We're excited to announce the start of a *free* Equine Facilitated Counseling small group for veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress. The group will meet each Wednesday from 1-2:30 for eight weeks.Â
Veterans learn how their actions, intentions, expectations, and tone have an impact on their relationship with the horses (and ultimately, with the people in their lives). A licensed mental health professional and horse specialist will guide veterans through a series of ground (non-riding) interactions with the Equest Therapy Herd.
Who? Male & female veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress
When? Every Wednesday from 1-2:30 p.m. The group will meet for eight sessions over the course of eight weeks beginning March 4, 2020. *Class will run March 4-April 22, 2020 (no spring break)
Where? Equest at the Texas Horse Park
