About the Event
Equest's Hooves for Heroes Veteran Program is hosting H101 for veterans, active duty military members,and their families for free on Sunday, December 8 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Equest at the Texas Horse Park.
There will be ground (not mounted) horse interactions through several stations each focusing on a different area: Herd behavior, equine grooming, leading equines through an obstacle course, and more.
The mission of this H101 class is to provide equine assisted learning opportunities to the veteran community.
